General description of the service
The Zweckverband Region Finowkanal is a public-law association of municipalities in Brandenburg with the aim of developing water tourism in the region around the Finowkanal.
Explanations on the implementation of the service
The tasks include:
- Operation, maintenance, servicing, repair and modernization of locks and other hydraulic engineering facilities in the association’s area.
- Securing permanent water tourism use of the Finowkanal – for both motorized and muscle-powered boat traffic.
- Promotion and marketing for the region: public relations, events, development of infrastructure around the canal
Status of compatibility with the requirements
We are committed to digital accessibility and aim to design our website in such a way that it is fully accessible to all users. We are therefore continuously working to fully implement the requirements of the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG) and the Ordinance to the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSGV).
