The excavation pit in Ruhlsdorf has already been pumped empty (drained) after neutralizing the excavation pit water. This step is still pending in Leesenbrück and Grafenbrück. The excavation water changes its color from grey-green to turquoise during the work due to its high mineral content.
A first look into the drained construction pit gives an idea of the dimensions. In Ruhlsdorf, the base is now being cleaned and the unevenness leveled out. This means that installation of the fixed steel parts and reinforcement can begin in the next few weeks.
