In recent weeks and months, the historic granite cornerstones have been restored with great care and attention to detail and have now been reinstalled in Ruhlsdorf and Leesenbrück. In combination with the newly clinkered chamber walls, this creates an impressive image of times gone by. This not only gives the locks on the Finowkanal an unmistakable look, but also a piece of their history back.
