The ZRF celebrates with representatives from politics and business with a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony to mark the start of construction work on the basic renovation of the historic Ruhlsdorf lock. In the coming years, all twelve more or less dilapidated locks on the Finowkanal are to be renovated and automated in order to ensure continuous navigability for the next 80 years.
