What seemed almost impossible until a year and a half ago has now been achieved: the overall financing of the large, Germany-wide unique pilot project for the basic repair of the first six locks on the Finowkanal has been secured. After the financing agreement with the federal government for 50% of the costs was signed at the end of 2020, the Investment Bank of the State of Brandenburg has now issued the grant notification for the remaining half of the costs with the highest funding rate of 95%.
