After installing the micro-grouted piles at all 3 locks (Ruhlsdorf, Leesenbrück and Grafenbrück), the divers were again deployed to prepare the excavation base for the underwater concreting and to place the anchor plates on the pile heads. The underwater concreting then took place over the last few weeks. Each construction site was supplied by 4 different concrete plants in order to be able to provide the large quantities required without delay.
