Oder-Havel cycle path – after about 500 metres, turn left onto Britzer Strasse – keep right to follow
Finow Canal for about 5.1 kilometres – turn onto Altenhofer Strasse – left along Am Treidelsteg for about 2.9 kilometres – turn left on Hauptstrasse – turn onto Biesenthaler Strasse (about 3 kilometres) – keep right in the direction of Joachimsthal – pass Grafenbrücker Lock after about 2.7 kilometres Marienwerder –
Joachimsthal: about 20.1 kilometres along the K6001 for about 500 metres – left at the crossing – keep right into the forest in the direction of Rosenbeck (about 2.7 kilometres) – take the road to the right past Rosenbecker Lock – left onward in the direction of Eichhorst – left in Eichhorst following Eberswalder Chaussee for about 1 kilometre – change onto Am Werbellinkanal – after about 1.4 kilometres straight on to Wildau – follow the cycle path to the right and cross the L220 after 1 kilometre, follow the cycle path in the direction of Joachimsthal (about 7.4 kilometres) – keep left and after 200 metres change onto Schwarze Bahn Joachimsthal –
Althüttendorf: about 6.5 kilometres on the L220 – left onto Chausseestrasse – change to Mühlenstrasse – right onto Rosenstrasse – after about 150 metres turn left onto Marktstrasse – change to Töpferstrasse after about 350 metres – then left onto Grimnitzerstrasse and follow the cycle path – straight ahead on Hövelstrasse – after about 550 metres, turn left into the bungalow village and follow the cycle path signs (about 3.5 kilometres) Althüttendorf – Chorin: about 14.7 kilometres turn right onto Dorfstrasse – keep left on Zu den Ihlowbergen, then keep right onto the cycle path (about 1.3 kilometres) – left to change onto the L220 – after about 1.2 kilometres go in the direction of Senftenhütte (about 2.9 kilometre) – at Choriner Ende, go in the direction of Chorin – after about 600 metres, follow the cycle path for about 4 kilometres Chorin – Eberswalde: about 21 kilometres right onto Sandkruger Weg – after about 200 metres keep left (about 2.1 kilometres) – cross Angermünder Strasse onto Lieper Weg – right onto Amtsweg – after about 3 kilometres follow the cycle path (about 1.4 kilometre) – change to the L291 – after about 800 metres turn left onto Waldstrasse – in
Niederfinow turn right onto Dorfstrasse and follow it for about 7.2 kilometres – in Eberswalde turn left onto Schleusenstrasse – after about 2.1 kilometres left to cross Kupferhammer Lock – after about 1 kilometre you will come to Bahnhofsplatz

- Public transport: take the RE3 from Berlin in the direction of Stralsund to Eberswalde in just 30 minutes
- Car: via the B2 from the centre of Berlin to Eberswalde in about 60 minutes
