Canoe Tour – Finow Canal and Werbellin Canal to Lake Werbellinsee

The canoe tour runs along the Finow Canal and the Werbellin Canal to Lake Werbellinsee, Brandenburg’s second deepest lake at about 60 metres. This attractive tour in the direction of Lake Klarwassersee impresses in particular with the historic charm of the protected Finow Canal. Along the route, paddlers pass numerous historic manual locks. The unique industrial, cultural and architectural history of the waterway built 400 years ago is as impressive as the idyllic landscape surrounding it, offering quiet and relaxation.

Start: Natural camp site, Niederfinow district of Stecherschleuse / Finish: JATOUR – Camping Am Spring Werbellinsee, Joachimsthal

How to get there:

• Public transport: Take the RE 3 (Stralsund) from Berlin central station to Eberswalde, from there take Bus 916 (Oderberg) to the Niederfinow boat lift (about 1 hour).
• Car: From Berlin via the A 10, B 158 and B 168 to Niederfinow (about 1 hour 15 minutes).

• Lake Werbellinsee: Channel lake up to 60 metres deep.
