Please note: Due to construction work the Leesenbrück Lock will be closed until Early 2026. It’s not possible to carry your canoe around the lock. The Leesenbrück lock will reopen in 2026 after several years of construction. It is automated, i.e. operated by the boaters themselves. The Oder-Havel cycle path runs directly through the lock area. Parts of a former and now filled-in second lock basin can still be seen right next to the lock. There are waiting areas for boaters in the upper and lower water. A path for carrying the canoe around has been set up.
