Route: Biesenthal, Lake Lehnsee, Großer Samithsee Lake, Vorwerk, Biesenthal

Route description:
It is easy to find your way on this hike as the paths in the forests north of Biesenthal are set out according to the Land registry. The tour goes through the forest first before you come to Lake Lehnsee and Großen Samithsee Lake. It then leads past the outlying estate back to the starting point. The banks of Lake Lehnsee are not accessible but access to the water at Großen Samithsee Lake is excellent.

The Oberheide (high heath) near Biesenthal is hardly known at all beyond the region and not many people hike here – ideal for hiking with a dog.
