Construction diary lock renovation

Lock by lock for the navigability of the Finowkanal

Join us on the exciting journey ‘Restoration of the 12 historic locks on the Finowkanal’.

Our construction diary will provide you with regular updates on the construction work.
On 17.02.2023, the Zweckverband Region Finowkanal celebrated the start of construction work on the six western locks on the Finowkanal with a ceremony at the Ruhlsdorf lock. The construction work for the so called Package 1 includes the locks in Ruhlsdorf, Leesenbrück, Grafenbrück, Schöpfurt, Heegermühle and Wolfswinkel.
