Construction site tours
Experience the renovation of the locks live on site
We invite you to experience the construction work on the Finowkanal locks up close. Learn interesting facts about the history of the canal, details about the current construction work and witness this unique infrastructure project in Germany – the renovation of the twelve locks on the Finowkanal.
In about 1.5 hours, a ZRF employee will guide you around the construction site and explain the ongoing construction work as well as the overall project and historical background to the locks on the Finowkanal.
Please note:
The tour partly takes place during construction work and you will be on a large construction site. Sturdy footwear is therefore absolutely essential (work shoes/hiking boots). Safety helmets and vests will be provided on site. The tour may be canceled at short notice if it is raining continuously or there is a risk of bad weather. Visiting the construction site is at your own risk.

Package price: 60 euros for up to 6 people
